See How the Funding Is Used
The ETHOS Apprenticeship Fund supports thirty months of education, professional development and workplace experience for Pang, Ta May and Sinh.
We prepared the complete programme budget before the apprenticeship begins so that supporters can clearly understand what the programme costs, how donations will be used and what ETHOS contributes directly.
Every contribution will be managed carefully, responsibly and transparently.

Where ETHOS Contributes
The financial budget does not reflect the full contribution required to deliver the programme. Alongside the funded costs, the ETHOS team will contribute hundreds of hours to curriculum development, teaching, mentoring, field supervision, assessment, welfare support and programme documentation.
Much of this work will be undertaken alongside our existing tourism operations and without additional payment.
Our contribution is our time, experience and long-term commitment. The Apprenticeship Fund provides the practical opportunities that allow this work to succeed.
Why We Need Your Help
ETHOS tourism income is already shared across a wide local network of guides, drivers, lunch hosts, homestays and other local suppliers. It also helps fund Human Trafficking Awareness and Prevention workshops, community litter picks, health and hygiene seminars and other practical local initiatives. This is not an additional charitable commitment. It is the foundation of the community-based model we have spent years building.
The apprenticeship cannot simply be absorbed into that income without reducing the support already reaching local families, businesses and community projects. Redirecting those funds would ask the wider community to carry the cost of a new educational programme, contradicting the principles the apprenticeship is intended to strengthen.
ETHOS is contributing the curriculum, teaching, mentoring, workplace experience and hundreds of hours of unpaid professional time. We are asking our wider community to help provide the accommodation, food, education, qualifications, transport and practical support needed to complete the thirty-month journey.
Pang, Ta May and Sinh are being prepared not only for employment, but for future roles as confident community leaders and positive examples for younger women.
Our contribution is time, knowledge and commitment. Your support makes the full journey possible.
Financial Transparency
Trust depends on openness. ETHOS will publish regular updates on programme progress, funding and the apprentices’ educational and professional milestones.
We will review the budget annually and explain any material changes in costs or priorities. Supporters will be able to see what has been funded, what remains outstanding and how the programme is developing.
If donations exceed the amount required, the remaining funds will be reserved for future ETHOS apprenticeships.
Every contribution will be managed carefully, reported clearly and used to support long-term educational opportunity.

Every Donation Is an Investment in People
Every contribution to the ETHOS Apprenticeship Fund invests in education, opportunity and long-term community development. It provides the stability that allows Pang, Ta May and Sinh to learn, develop professionally and build independent futures.
Our goal is not simply to help three apprentices gain qualifications, but to support three future community leaders whose knowledge, confidence and experience will continue to benefit northern Vietnam for years to come.
Education creates opportunity. Opportunity creates confidence. Confidence creates leaders.
